How do I prepare for my session?
If it's a maternity session it's best if you're 7-8 months popped and you wear some sort of form fitting outfit to show off the bump. For a newborn session it's best within first 2 weeks of them being born. Since the newborn session takes place in your own home, we ask to keep it as clutter free as possible in the areas you wish to use such as family rooms, bedrooms and/or nurseries. Family sessions, we recommend wearing neutral colors without logos or crazy patterns (unless that's your preference). All other sessions, we suggest dressing in a way that makes you FEEL good, because how you feel will show in pictures!
Where does my session take place?
Sessions are typically at a chosen location in Nassau County and Western Suffolk County. Other areas might include a travel fee. Newborn Sessions take place in the comfort of your home during a time of day when it is the brightest since we prefer natural light. Family sessions can take place either in the comfort of your own home or a chosen location in Nassau County or Western Suffolk County. If you're celebrating at a venue, we'll be there with you. All of this would be discussed during your booking call to answer any other questions about locations that might come up.
Can we include extra family members?
Maternity sessions are meant for the couple or immediately family if you have other children. Newborn sessions also are meant for the couple and baby and siblings, but if you would like to include grandparents/aunts/uncles/cousins there would be an additional fee for extra people since it requires more time. The same applies for family sessions which are meant for the immediate family members, but grandparents/aunts/uncles/cousins can be included for an additional fee as well. When will I see my images?
After your session, your images go through an editing process with color correction, updating cropping and exposure, etc. It typically takes about 2-3 weeks before we contact you to schedule a virtual photo reveal appointment to purchase your images from one of our packages or a la carte menu.
What's included in my session fee?
That depends on the type of session you're interested in booking. Our session fees start at $600 to reserve the session itself, and then we offer packages and a la carte items after your session. Included in your session fee is a post session zoom photo reveal where we'll choose your favorite images and how you would like to purchase them. A la carte items include albums, folios and wall art that start at $200 with our packages starting at $700. We go over more pricing information during our connection call, and you will receive the full price list to view after we officially book your session date.
